Everything started when I was 10 years old, my grandfather who was also my best friend, was diagnosed with a liver disease. The specialist that was treating him, besides the prescription drugs, strongly encouraged my grandfather, to start a diet that will include raw unfiltered honeycomb honey, from wildflowers. He explained that, the medication will only treat the liver, but will not cure it. On the other hand, the honeycomb honey, consumed regularly, over time will cure the liver, improve cholesterol, and strengthen the heart . For me at that time, was hard to believe, even hearing it from a very reputable doctor. I was concerned I might lose my best friend. On the way home, from the doctors office, my Grandfather started explaining to me, how honey was used for medical and preventive purposes for thousands of years. And he strongly believed that this will be the cure for his diseased liver. He also went on explaining all the benefits, that honey bees have on humanity, but I will leave that story for part 2. Fast forward 5 years later, after consuming many mason jars of honey, 2 spoons in the morning, and 2 spoon in the evening, together with a special diet he cured his liver. For me this was a miracle, because I was afraid that I will lose my best friend. And ever since then I strongly believe in the power of honey and all the other products that come from bees. Now I encourage everyone to include honey in their regular diet so they can have healthier and happier life
